George W Bush Battles Jesus Christ
I've always found the hypocrisy of Christianity interesting, but the Bush Reign has been the scariest example of everything wrong with religion in recent times.
I don't think there is anything wrong with Christianity. What is wrong is people who call themselves Christians. Today, many so-called Christians talk about Gods being on their side. What they should be asking themselves really, in whether they are on God's side...that is, loving their neighbors as themselves, which is the greatest command.
Christianity, as in the actual Biblical portrayal of the teachings of Jesus, is good.
So is Islam and Buddhism and many other religions.
But the actual practice of religion on large scales is disastrous. Religion is used by those in power to control the masses, and it's used by the masses to excuse themselves of any kind of responsibility for their own thoughts and actions.
Christianity in particular has given us The Crusades, The Inquisition, Slavery, the subjugation of women, Neocons, and the current Iraq War.
None of this is the fault of Christianity per se; Christianity is just the religion of our current culture.

Indeed!...and I think sometimes it just takes a simple gesture like this to help people see the absurdity that is going on. Thank you for posting it.
